We Accept Year-Round Book Donations for Children of All Ages:
Santa’s Bookshelf was established in 2015 to nurture the minds and spirits of local children through the gift of reading. We strive to provide disadvantaged Pensacola, Northwest Florida, and Mobile, Alabama infants, tweens and teens with access to quality books. Santa’s Bookshelf also distributes books to deserving schools and libraries overseas.
Our objective is to encourage childhood reading, expand young minds, and to create quality reading opportunities and cherished memories that can last a lifetime.
Our 2018 Goal is to Collect 2000 Books:
Santa’s Bookshelf successfully collected and distributed over 1100 books last year, and has set an achievable goal of 2000 books for the 2018 holiday season. We hope to meet or exceed this goal but will need your caring support to make it a reality. Please consider sending us your donation of new or gently used children’s books or cash contribution before December 20th. Santa’s Bookshelf will distribute your much-needed gifts through a network of local charities to local families in need of Christmas help.
